This innovation eliminates the need for periodic replacement of membranes and reagents. The sensor is designed with a sophisticated three-electrode system: to neutralize the adverse effects of fluctuating electrode potential during continuous monitoring between the working and counter electrodes—resulting in potential measurement inaccuracies—a reference electrode is integrated, crafting a robust three-electrode arrangement. As the potential shifts between the working and reference electrodes, the applied voltage is continuously fine-tuned via the reference electrode potential and voltage control circuit, ensuring a steadfast potential difference between these electrodes. This sensor boasts exceptional measurement precision, extended operational lifespan, and minimal calibration requirements. It is extensively applied in automatic dosing for circulating water systems, chlorine regulation in swimming pools, and accurately determining residual chlorine levels in water solutions at drinking water treatment facilities, distribution networks, pools, and hospital wastewater treatment.
