Process Free Chlorine Sensors
The residual chlorine sensor belongs to the constant potentialelectrolysis type sensor in chemical sensors, which adopts advancednon membrane constant voltage sensors and does not require thereplacement of membranes and reagents.This electrode is a three electrode system: in order to overcome thenegative effect of the electrode potential not being constant duringcontinuous detection between the working electrode and thecounter electrode, which leads to an increase in measurement errora reference electrode is added to the electrode system, forming athree electrode system for residual chlorine sensors. As the potentialbetween the working electrode and the reference electrodechanges, the voltage applied between the two is continuoustyadjusted using the reference electrode potential and voltage controcircuit, maintaining a constant potential difference between theworking electrode and the reference electrode. iIt has theadvantages of high measurement accuracy, long working life, andno need for frequent calibration.Widely used for automatic dosing of circulating water, chlorine controlin swimming pools, and precise measurement of residual chlorinecontent in water solutions in drinking water treatment plants, drinkingwater distribution networks, swimming pools, and hospital wastewater.
