The residual chlorine sensor is an advanced member of the constant potential electrolysis type sensors in the world of chemical sensors. It boasts cutting-edge non-membrane constant voltage sensors that eliminate the need for frequent membrane replacements and reagent changes. This sophisticated sensor features a robust three-electrode system. To effectively counteract the potential fluctuations that can occur between the working electrode and the counter electrode during continuous detection, which can lead to increased measurement errors, a reference electrode is incorporated within the system. This forms a highly reliable three-electrode configuration for residual chlorine sensors. As the potential changes between the working and reference electrodes, a dynamic voltage control circuit, in conjunction with the reference electrode potential, continuously adjusts the voltage, maintaining a stable potential difference between them. This ensures high measurement accuracy, an extended operational lifespan, and minimal need for recalibration. Widely acclaimed, this sensor is indispensable for precise automatic dosing of circulating water, stringent chlorine control in swimming pools, and exact residual chlorine measurement in water solutions across drinking water treatment plants, distribution networks, swimming pools, and hospital wastewater systems.
